What is a Simple Civil Ceremony?

Our Simple Civil Ceremony is a promotional offer and you must ask for the Simple Civil Ceremony to take advantage of this wonderful offer. The ceremony is simple, no frills or extras, very short lasting only 5-10 minutes and you.

You will need to make an appointment. Tel. 503-540-0610 E-mail: pleasereserve@weddingsonchurchstreet.com We do not accept drop-ins, however we can perform ceremonies the same day you call provided time is available and your Oregon marriage license is valid.

Please be on time, unfortunately, we will not hold your appointment for more than 10 minutes. You may invite guests, however, we will not wait for them if they are not on time.

You may obtain your marriage license from any county clerk within the state of Oregon and marry the same day provided you request the waiting period be waived.

We only accept cash for the Simple Ceremony. Please have the correct amount, we do not keep cash on the premises and can not to make change. Payment is made before the ceremony begins.

We use our standard vows, unless the bride and groom have written their own and plan to read them to each other.

Two witnesses are required by Oregon law, there is no age requirement. We can supply witnesses but there is a $10 gratuity per witness.

The Simple Civil Ceremony is available only Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 o'clock in the afternoon to 7:30 in the evening.
