Clark County
Licenses
may be obtained at the Recording/Marriage License Department at
the Clark County Courthouse, First Floor. Both bride and groom must
be present to apply for a marriage license. Proof of divorce from a
previous spouse or death of a spouse is not required to obtain a license
for a new marriage. Same sex marriages are not recognized in the State
of Washington at this time. You may request a copy of the marriage license

Age Requirements:
Both applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older. Applicants
who are 17 years of age must be accompanied by one parent or legal guardian
who can provide consent. Applicants under the age of 17 must obtain
permission from the Juvenile Court. Blood tests and physical exams are
not required to obtain a marriage license.
Waiting Period:
3 Days -Waiting period begins the first day after you apply for your
license and ends the third day following the date of application. You
may not get married during this waiting period (Oregon will waive the
3 day waiting period). Oregon License.
Identification Required:
Current photo ID as proof of identification and age.
Residency: None
Blood Test:
None
Cost: $46. The
nonrefundable fee is payable at the time of application. Payment must
be made in cash. Checks and credit cards are not accepted at this time.
License is valid anywhere in the state of Washington for 60 days from
time of issue
